Legal Voices issue 3

There are many reasons why there is such a level of homelessness, not least that solicitors do not understand human rights, as confirmed by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority, judges are not lawyers, the money in the judicial system makes it very lucrative for the legal profession if they do not uphold the law themselves, and that includes MPs. The cry is "get a lawyer", "take legal advice". Why is it that the victim has to do all of the work, while the fat cats rake it in. It is nothing to do with lack of social housing the lawyers and judicial system make it far worse.
